The Strategic Mind (or Lack Thereof) of a Surfing Machine
Entering Woody’s Surf Shop with thirty dollars and a “surf and destroy” attitude, Wilbur Kookmeyer attempts to sign up for the Amateur Scholastic Surfing Federation regional contest. What should be a simple entry form becomes a comedic battle of wits—or a lack of them. While Woody emphasizes that contests require tactical strategy and mental sharpness, Wilbur struggles with the very first hurdle: writing his name. From mixing up first and last names to eventually trying to write his identity backwards, Wilbur manages to turn a routine application into “another crappy day” for the long-suffering Woody.
